Residential & Commercial

Our services are available within a 50-mile radius of San Antonio, between Lake Hills and Bandera, Texas.

Get Your Electrical Wiring Inspected, Residential and Commercial

Wiring problems contribute to fires in thousands of residential and commercial properties every year. If the wiring in your house is older than 40 years, it is high time for you to get basic electrical devices such as plugs, switches, and breakers inspected by a professional electrical service provider. As wiring ages, insulation gets brittle, and an electrical short circuit may occur. About half of such fires involve wiring, switches, outlets, or lighting equipment.

Service Signs

These are some of the signs that you may need service in your residential or commercial space:

  • Switches or Outlets Are Warm
  • Fuses Frequently Blow, or the Circuit Breaker Trips Often
  • Lights Dim or Flicker

If you notice any of these problems mentioned above, contact our qualified electricians for a thorough inspection. You can also get an arc-fault circuit interrupter installed for safety purposes. If a short circuit is detected, these devices will cut off the power supply to an outlet.

Add a Plug, Switch or an Additional
Branch Circuit

Make Kirchner Electric Services your first call for all your electrical repair and maintenance needs. If you routinely use an extension cord to plug in an appliance or lamp, contact our electricians to add a plug. For example, refrigerators in garages should be on their own circuit not tied into an existing circuit or you will trip breakers due to an amperage overload. Do not run cords under rugs where they can get overheated. These are just a few things that we take for granted.
